Every great company starts with a dream, and Wildog Accessories is a story built on passion, perseverance, and a belief that better products are created through experience, dedication, and purpose.
Founded in 2014 by Mechanical Engineer Renier Rossouw, Wildog Accessories started with a simple vision: to design and manufacture high-quality 4x4 accessories that could withstand the toughest conditions while giving adventurers the confidence to explore further.
Before Wildog became a recognised name in the 4x4 industry, it began as a passion project. After hours, in his own driveway, Renier started designing and developing products using chalk drawings, cardboard prototypes, and hands-on problem solving. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a business driven by innovation, engineering, and a genuine love for the outdoors and off-road lifestyle.
Inspired by years spent exploring the outdoors with his late father, Renier understood the importance of having equipment that could be trusted when adventure takes you beyond the ordinary. This belief remains at the centre of every Wildog product today.
The name Wildog was inspired by the African Wild Dog — a remarkable animal known for its teamwork, loyalty, intelligence, and ability to succeed as a pack. These values represent who we are as a company: a team of passionate individuals working together with a shared purpose to create products that make a difference.
From those first driveway designs, Wildog Accessories has grown into a proudly South African manufacturing company with a state-of-the-art production facility in Pretoria, a Cape Town warehouse, and a growing international footprint. Today, the Wildog Pack consists of more than 70 dedicated team members who share a passion for quality, innovation, and adventure.
Every person plays an important role in bringing our products to life — from design and engineering, through manufacturing and quality control, to customer service and support. With more than 600 resellers across the world, Wildog continues to expand while staying true to its roots: designing and manufacturing products locally that are made for real-world use. Our range includes heavy-duty steel bumpers, rock sliders, underbody protection, rear bumpers and other premium 4x4 accessories — all designed with purpose, precision, and durability in mind.
