    QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Yes. WILDOG products are proudly manufactured in South Africa.

Service plans and warranties vary by manufacturer and dealership. Customers are advised to consult their dealership for specific guidance.

All bumper designs are engineered in accordance with ASE specifications, and several models have been tested and certified accordingly. Post-incident feedback from customers, including photographs and written counts, has confirmed correct airbag deployment during collisions.

All products undergo a four-stage surface treatment process: sand blasting, phosphate bath, e-coating, and powder coating. Selected products are also available in OEM colour matched or raptor coating finishes.

Lead times vary depending on the product and current demand. Please contact our sales team for stock availability.

WILDOG front replacement bumpers have an average weight of approximately 58 kg.

A suspension upgrade is not typically required when fitting a WILDOG replacement bumper. Our bumpers are engineered to be light weight, minimising any additional load on the front suspension. That said, the need for a suspension upgrade ultimately depends on the age and overall condition of the vehicle's existing suspension components. On a well-maintained, newer vehicle, no upgrade should be necessary. However, on a higher-mileage vehicle with worn suspension components - such as ageing coil springs, shock absorbers, or bushings - fitting any replacement bumper may be a good opportunity to assess and refresh those components as part of routine maintenance.

We recommend that customers with older or high-mileage vehicles have their suspension inspected by a qualified technician prior to or at the time of fitment, to ensure optimal ride quality and handling are maintained.

Yes. A small gap exists between the bumper and the vehicle body, which is filled with an automotive-grade rubber seal. This design intentionally allows for independent flex between the body and chassis — an important consideration when replacing OEM plastic components with steel bumpers.

Most WILDOG front replacement bumpers are winch compatible. Please confirm compatibility with a sales representative for your specific vehicle and bumper model.

Spotlight compatibility varies by bumper model. Please confirm compatibility with a sales representative for your specific vehicle and bumper model.

WILDOG scrub bars are designed to complement your vehicle while maintaining practical ground clearance for off-road use.

Depending on the model, front replacement bumpers may include 18-watt fog lights, recovery points, jacking points, spotlight brackets, bash plates, and mounting hardware.

Bash plates are included as standard on selected bumper models.
